The air-cooled chiller is one of the most efficient, quiet and reliable chillers on the market today. The screw hermetic compressor provides a cooling capacity of 736 kW while the 4 plate heat exchangers have a heating capacity of 148 kW each. Due to Earthcare’s advanced manufacturing technology the sound power level of the system is relatively low with only 95.3 dB.

The large screw compressor model CVAM ST 4075 P uses specially selected polyglycol oils, which are resistant to dilution by hydrocarbons. Tests have indicated up to an 18% percent improvement in volumetric efficiency over conventional refrigerant and oil combinations. In addition, Earthcare Products’ development department is continually working on improving its own technology, such as through its vapour injection economised screw initiative.

Used on sites across the country, the chillers using R290 as a refrigerant have a proven record of accomplishment for solid performance and low running costs. Britain’s largest ever hydrocarbon chiller for a building services application has been installed in Westminster and is running with efficiency and reliability.
