The first product Mayekawa will be showcasing soon on this platform will be a hydrocarbon refrigerant packaged unit that can be applied for commercial and industrial air conditioning, as well as for hot water supply. That the technology is successfully and reliably working was already demonstrated at the Toyako G8 Summit last year where the refrigeration and air-conditioning system was used as the auxiliary air conditioning system in the International Media Center. Tested also in different case studies, the system could prove its environmental advantages by reducing the CO₂ emissions by 14%.

Using hydrocarbons in the temperature range between around -15°C and +60°C, Mayekawa’s hydrocarbon systems can be applied in general for hot water supply, air-conditioning and cooling.
