The HG (Hermetic Gas-cooled) range of semi-hermetic GEA Bock compressors offers traditional suction gas-cooled state of the art compressor technology. These compressors of the highest quality standard excel in their running comfort, easy maintenance, efficiency and reliability.

Special feature of semi-hermetic compressors for hydrocarbons

For various applications, such as the field of supermarket refrigeration, hydrocarbons are an established natural refrigerant besides CO₂. In that light, GEA Refrigeration Technologies now offers with its GEA Bock HC compressors a low-cost compressor variant especially for the use with hydrocarbons that is based on their semi-hermetic compressor product range.

Due to the flammability of hydrocarbons the compressor has some safety related modifications.

Compressors in HC-design have the following special features:

• Heat protection thermostat as standard
• Oil sump heater as standard
• Special oil charge
• Motor protection MP10 for installation in the switch cabinet

Expanded displacement range

Previously available for displacements between 18.80 to 56.60 m³/h, GEA Refrigeration Technologies has expanded its offering of hydrocarbon semi-hermetic GEA Bock compressors to cover displacements between 5.40 m³/h and 279.80 m³/h.
